The biggest batch of changes since leaving beta: the underfloor heating module has a new, faster menu, and help is now available from anywhere in the app. Everything that changed, below.
New features
Multiple storeys in one underfloor heating project. You add each floor as its own tab on the canvas and design it independently - sections, manifolds and supply routes. Storeys stay in sync with the floors from your OZC calculation.
In-app help. The green "?" button in the bottom-right corner (and the same row in the sidebar) gathers everything in one place: the help center, what's new, the Facebook group, sending feedback, contacting us and switching the app language. On a module page it additionally shows that module's guides and shortcuts.
A context menu on the canvas. Right-clicking a section, route or manifold opens a menu with actions for the selected element - deleting, deselecting, selecting everything and toggling the grid.
Organized notifications. The in-app inbox groups messages by category, and important announcements also reach you by email.
A help center and guides. At heatalgo.com/en/help we've gathered step-by-step guides - starting with the complete guide to the underfloor heating module. The blog gained categories and filters so you can find things faster.
Improvements
- A new underfloor heating toolbar - floating at the bottom of the canvas, with keyboard shortcuts: V select, C calibrate, P section, M manifold, R route, O pipe, G grid.
- Right-button canvas panning - hold and drag to move the view; a plain right-click opens the context menu.
- A collapsible side panel - reclaim the full screen width for the floor plan, with project settings and PDF export always at hand at the top of the panel.
- Report notes as their own button - one click instead of hunting through a menu; a green dot reminds you a note is waiting in the report.
- Storey tabs directly on the canvas - switch floors without taking your eyes off the design.
Fixes
- Links in notifications and guides open in your account's language - English accounts no longer land on Polish articles.
- Small polish across menus, buttons and tooltips throughout the app.
